Compassion, Hope, Empowerment & Transformation
Dr Michaelia MBBS FRACGP is a medical doctor, educator and author who works compassionately with people living with chronic invisible illness. Shaped by both her clinical experience and her own healing journey, her approach is grounded in empathy, hope and a deep respect for the body’s capacity to heal.
Her work goes beyond symptom management, integrating medical care with lifestyle factors, circadian rhythms, nutrition and mindset. Dr Michaelia focuses on empowering patients to better understand their bodies and take an active role in sustainable, lasting transformation.
She has a special interest in conditions involving the autonomic nervous system and immune dysregulation, including Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and hypermobility-related disorders such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). These conditions often present with complex, fluctuating symptoms that require a thoughtful and personalised approach.
Dr Michaelia works collaboratively with patients and their care teams to identify patterns over time and develop evidence-informed plans. At the heart of her work is a commitment to restoring hope for healing.
